I have been lucky enough to get baking jobs every once in a while to keep my baking skills up to par! This last week I was asked to cater a Church Christmas Party. After a sleepless night, this was the result.
I ended up with a three layer Chocolate w/ Chocolate Butterceam cake, topped with sliced almonds.
Two layered white w/ buttercream frosting, topped with crushed peppermint.
Red Velvet cupcakes w/ cream cheese frosting.
These cakes tested my baking skills, but were well worth it!

Come Get EM!
After a lot of debating, I FINALLY decided to sell at the Farmers Market. When it was all said and done it went a lot better than expected! I made over 200 cupcakes and ended up selling all but 30.
It began with my day starting at 7am. I baked all day long until it was time to pack and up sell! I tried 3 new flavors that I had never made before. They all sold SO quick! Such a relief! I really enjoyed selling at the market!
FLAVORS:
Cookies N' Cream- Snicker-doodle- Red Velvet- Triple Chocolate

First Catering Job!
I was lucky enough to have my first catering job last week. It was a small job, but it was perfect for starting out. I catered for the PRSSA group on the BYU-Idaho campus. I made 10 vanilla cupcakes w/ buttercream frosting, and 10 chocolate cupcakes w/ chocolate buttercream. It was a lot of fun! I look forward to more opportunities to do more cupcake catering.
